| In January 2009 we needed to get a get away from the winter in Denmark. After a lot of searching on the internet we finally found a good offer on a week to Gran Canaria.
We stayed at an apartment-hotel called Las Gacelas, located close to the Yumbo center. On the internet we had seen some pretty bad reviews of Las Gacelas, but we found it to be of very reasonable standard, especially compared to the price. the room was clean and with a sunfilled balcony. |

Puerto Mogan |

| The 2 days we rented a car, we visited the little coastal town of Puerto Mogan. It is situated on the southern coast. Both days we arrived early, before the town was filled with (to many) tourist and enjoyed the relaxed atmosphere. |  Puerto Mogan seen from the road (293 kb) |
